This event was again a huge SUCCESS in 2007 due to the volunteers that supported this great cause by either making a monetary donation or they donated their time to go and purchase the supplies needed and then organized the supplies and distributing them to the kids. Last year this event helped 72 kids right here in Flagler Estates! These kids were ready to start the 2007-2008 school year thanks to the volunteers that made this happen. Volunteers are needed to help in cleaning up the streets in our community. These events usually take place on a specific Saturday, during the morning hours. Please keep in mind you do not have to volunteer the entire time of the event, just come on out for a couple of hours and help keep our community clean. Orange vest , rubber gloves and trash bags will be provided.

As you may know, Crime is an issue in our community, as it is in any community. To help deter crime we have developed the neighborhood watch program in our community, we have been making a difference for over a year now, Thank you to all who have participated and continue to support this great program. There are over 88 Streets in our community, that is over 140 miles of Road ways in Flagler Estates, neighbors looking out for neighbors is what it is all about! We have also begun to have residents register with the CODE RED program visit www.sjso.org and learn more about CODE RED and also sign up today!

The 3rd annual Fall Festival was a huge SUCCESS. This event last year brought over 350 Residents of Flagler Estates together for food, fun, and entertainment, all the kids had a blast! We are glad the fall festival has become an annual event! This event was so successful because of the State, County ,local agency’s and the Volunteers who all worked together to make it happen!
